Staff TrainingThroughout 2009 & 2010 the workforce of the Nugent Group have shown that they are very motivated and willing to gain more qualifications in the Construction Industry. Very big wells done to all the guys on NVQ's that have applied themselves in their own time and on site - we all know a NVQ is not the easiest qualification to gain. All 14 candidates enrolled on the specialised plant and machinery NVQ Level 2 in April and have now completed and are awaiting their certificates and CPCS cards. We also have the NVQ Level 2's Civil Engineering & Construction coming to completion. We have five completed already and the rest are well on their way. We are
currently involved in three types of NVQ across the workforce, and if you would
like to gain this qualification, then please do let us know. |

The machine assessments, which have been arranged, have been a huge success
gaining most of our machine drivers their CPCS cards.
The First Aid and Confined Spaces course, held in April were a success and the
lad's thoroughly enjoyed their day at the Skylane Hotel.
We are so pleased with our whole workforce. They have all shown a great interest
in learning more about the Construction Industry and have made a difference to
themselves, the people working around them and to the company as a whole.
Eighty Five percent of the workforce now has their CSCS or CPCS cards and the
rest will be following soon. I would like you all to know that with your
dedication and hard work the Nugent Group received three awards, to date,
relating to People Improvement; we are very proud of our entire workforce. And a
very big thank you and Well Done goes to all members of staff at the Nugent
Group.
