Employee Awards

The Nugent Group achievement awards were presented at our recent annual dinner and dance.

This year we had four categories

• Best newcomer
• Best team award
• Best Commitment to Health & Safety
• Employee of the year

The best newcomer has two outstanding candidates so we decided to present two awards this year. They were awarded to two new young and up and coming foreman, One who has been mainly involved with our RC works side of the business and the other who has been involved on the pure Groundwork contracts. They are Barry Rossiter and Paul Bolesworth.

The best team award was given to a gang who have worked well together and who have set new standards for the quality of works they have carried out, they were Andy Cooke and Jim Uhart.

A new award this year was best commitment to health & safety; this was given to someone working on a very demanding contract, within a fully occupied existing development and having to liase with all parties. The award was given to George Hendry.

The Final award was for our employee of the year, this person is renowned for being available at short notice to help out where ever he is required, the recipient was Tony Grimley.

We also awarded two employees with long service awards for completing 5 years with Nugent's. The award consists of an engraved gold watch as a way of saying thank you for your commitment to the company and the recipients were Naomi Deloughery and Patsy Scullion.
